Cuba has a great deal of dams, rice fields, swamps, river mouths and lagoons which make hunting possible. There are game reserves in different regions of the country, from Pinar del Río to Las Tunas. Hunting is carried out following the strategy of reducing the excess population in areas of great abundance and watching out for the preservation of endangered species.
This program using the game reserves: Punta de Palma y Maspoton in Pinar del Rio province, guarantees all the logistic support, including all the necessary procedures to import the hunting guns into the country and their safekeeping. The main species found in this area are: ducks, doves, common snipe and quails. The hunting season opens from October 15 to March 30.
The Mirador de San Diego Hotel at 135km from Havana will be used as base, hunters will be lodge in DBL rooms with full board rate (AP) (breakfast, lunch and dinner included), all equipped with AC, satellite TV, telephone and private bathroom.

Program # 1. Pinar del Rio Hunting Area. ( 7 hunting sessions )

Day 1. GrandSlam Ltd.´s team assistance at José Martí Airport. Information meeting and private transfer to the 5* hotel chosen in Havana. Check in. Welcome cocktail and lodging in DBL/SGL room with full board rate (AP) (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 2. Breakfast. Transfer to Pinar del Río. Check in at El Mirador de San Diego Hotel. Lodging with full board rate (AP) (breakfast, lunch and dinner included). Meeting with hunting guides.

Additional information:

It´s mandatory to send the following information at least 45 days prior the client´s arrival:

• Names and Passport numbers.
• Trademark and number of the guns for the import permits.
• Each hunter can import two (2) guns and up to one hundred (100) 12-gage cartridges or 400 16-, 20-, 28-gage cartridges and 410 per gun.
• Barrel and butt number
• Clients must fill out a form which our travel agent will send after the services have been confirmed.

Program # 2: Jobo Rosado Game Reserve ( 8 hunting sessions Sancti Spíritus province, 8 days, 7 nights)

Hunting Season: 15 October – 30 March
Maximum 8 pax

The Jobo Rosado game reserve is located in the Northern municipality of Yaguajay in the central province of Sancti Spiritus. It is a special place to hunt doves, ducks and quails from October to March.
San Jose del Lago Hotel will serve as base for our clients in this program; it has a unique natural thermal swimming pool system with warm and medical waters that flows to a beautiful lake. Great gardens and rooms with AC, private bathroom with hot and cold water, satellite TV, minibar, restaurants and bar.
