Visit to Ernest Hemingway`s room at the Ambos Mundos; overview of old Obispo and Mercaderes Streets. | |||||||
Visit to El Morro Castle and explanation of the city's defensive system used during the siege of Havana by the British in 1762. | |||||||
Kosher Lunch at La Imprenta Restaurant or Los Mercaderes Restaurant . | |||||||
Visit to the Centro Hebreo Sefaradi de Cuba ( Cuban Sephardim Center ) on Vedado District .Welcome by its President or / and other distinguished members of the Board to know their activities, their health care programs for the elder Jewish people, etc. Visit Exhibition of photographs on the Holocaust and the role of Cubans. Visit to the Jewish Patronato and welcome by its President or / and other distinguished members of the Board Shabbat services at Synagogue Beth Shalom (at the Patronato) in Vedado District , Tea/ coffee and meeting with members of the congregation to know the Patronato`s activities. If available, visit to Jewish School sponsored by the Patronato ( Special Project for local Youth ). Afternoon at Leisure |

Visit to the Jewish cemeteries (Ashkenazim and Sephardim) in Guanabacoa, near Havana .See the small Holocaust Memorial and graves of Cuban Jewish personalities.Visit to Guanabacoa Historic Center.Kosher Lunch at El Templete Restaurant in Old Havana Guided visit to Calle Acosta and other areas in Old Havana where the Jews settled in the past.Visit to Adath Israel Synagogue in Old Havana and meeting with the Jewish community. | |||||||

Full Day Excursion to Pinar de rio & vinales. ( UNESCO World Heritage site) | |||||||
(Pinar del Rio is the Western-most province of Cuba and the world’s most fertile tobacco growing region. The Viñales Valley was once an enormous cave system before being eroded away to reveal the unique shaped “mogotes”, the rounded limestone outcrops covered in palm trees found only in Cuba and parts of South-East Asia. The area is now a National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site. The valley also has the largest cave system in Latin America and is home to unique species of flora and fauna.) | |||||||
On route to the valley, visit a local Tobacco factory, to learn about the manufacturing of worldwide famous Cuban cigars. | |||||||
At arrival in Vinales visit the outlook point located in Los Jasminez hotel, tasting a mojito as welcome cocktail and living the unique experience of a magnificent | |||||||
view of Viñales Valley Pincushion hill or Mogotes from Los Jazmines hotel terrace. | |||||||
Continue through the valley to explore ( boarding a small motorboat ) La Cueva del Indio, and underground river inside a huge Cavern. | |||||||
Kosher Lunch will be served at a private restaurant in town. | |||||||
Afternoon visits to local town, farmers houses and some walking-hiking through the exotic nature surroundings. Horseback ride is available. | |||||||
By the end of the afternoon, return to Havana. | |||||||
Day 6 ( Tuesday) | |||||||

Guided Visit to the National Museum of Fine Arts. Appreciation of Cuban paintings collection, depicting through different styles the history and culture of the Island. | |||||||
Walking guided tour on Prado Promenade ( Republican Havana) , masterpiece of French Architect Forrestie. Appreciation of the architecture of the period 1900-1930. | |||||||

Day 7 ( Wednesday ) | |||||||

Sightseeing tour in Vedado Historic District . Main Avenues and Eclectic mansions from 1920`s and 30´s , Havana University and the historic Colón Cemetery . | |||||||
Sightseeing tour in Miramar and Cubanacan ( former Country Club) Districts, to appreciate the architecture of the 1940's and 1950's. | |||||||
Farewell Lucnh ( Kosher ) at La Cocina de Liliam Private Restaurant in Miramar | |||||||
Free time . Optional visit to crafts market and artist`s studios, | |||||||
Day 8 ( Thursday ). | |||||||
