While visiting Cuba as a tourist, or even during a business trip, you might become  interested in knowing the historical values of the old colonial city. The Old Havana ( Habana Vieja in Spanish), was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in the early 1980’s, and that was indeed a well disserved title.

The time seems to have stopped in Old Havana, perhaps the best preserved colonial historic town in the Caribbean. Fortresses, old mansions, palaces, stoned streets, centuries old squares, convents, several churches, a baroque cathedral, beautiful gardens and elegant restaurants wait for you in there. So don’t miss it; give it a few hours to appreciate a unique cultural heritage!  And if you are short on time, then book your hotel inside Old Havana. 

We are not talking about new hotels, modern buildings or glass towers you might run into at any South American capital.
